THE SCHOOL FACILITIES

THE CENTER OVERVIEW

The facilities at Yoga Temple India are exceptional. Cleanliness and maintaining a hygienic environment are top priorities. For foreigners coming in to India there is often fear associated around food poisoning and dust. As a result, Yoga Temple India is committed to providing a safe and clean space for you to enjoy your Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, the world capital of Yoga.

THE FOOD AT YOGA TEMPLE INDIA KITCHEN

Students during the teacher training will receive three vegetarian meals per day. The food is cooked on the premise by our full time chef and is always fresh. We wash and prepare all of our food with safe filtered drinking water. The filter is replaced every two weeks to ensure the well being of the students. The meals follow the sattvic or yogi diet. This diet is designed to reduce fluctuations of the mind and body and so is neither too heavy nor too spicy. It is possible able to cater to all dietary requirements, as long as the staff is made aware beforehand and on arrival.

The water filter system is also free to use by all of our students so they do not need to constantly buy bottled water. It is more convenient for our practitioners and it saves on plastic, which is always a good thing.

THE YOGA HALL AT YOGA TEMPLE INDIA

On the top floor of our facility is the yoga hall. It is a tranquil and peaceful space. It provides the perfect settings for budding new teachers to learn the knowledge of the great yoga tradition. The hall is filled with props that include bolsters, chairs, straps, blankets and blocks. We also provide yoga mats, but we advise all of our students to bring their own. This is because it is important to continue to use the same mat and allow the transfer of energy to happen between the mat and the student. Obviously, if you share the academies mats, this relationship cannot form. The studio is also equipped with fans and air conditioning for those particularly hot days.
